Winner of NYCxDESIGN Awards 2021 for Outdoor Dining
- Interior Design Magazine

The Renaissance Pavilion at Strivers’ Row outdoor dining initiative was launched in Harlem, NYC. Presented by Uber Eats, the collaborative effort included thirty-two (32) companies, of which 26 or 85% represented black-owned businesses. Working in collaboration for 60 days, the team created a safe outdoor dining environment featuring winterized seating areas for black-owned restaurants and a public fine art exhibit. Participating entrepreneurs realized an immediate economic impact from the initiative with the ability to generate revenue from outdoor seating during the citywide closure of indoor dining throughout the pandemic.

Re-envisioning the power of community.
